    1. Aww well that's okay. But do you have any advice for a deck like this? Because i'm lost.

    2. Yeah, one card you might want to add to this mix is Invigorate. You can add and additional 4 poison counters in one turn with it. Also, use 4 Terramorphic Expanse, and 4 Evolving Wilds.

    3. Also, I no longer have this deck. Part of it was stolen.

  2. Mutagenic Growth seems iffy why would you want to pay life for something so minimally effective. And Invigorate.......you give them life!? That seems awful, also i don't see whats so good about those lands seeing as they come into play tapped. Yucky. I guess i just don't get it.

  3. With respect to poison, forget about life totals. It's all about poison. Woopdeedo 3 life, when you nail them with 4 poison counters. Taking 4 poison counters is like doing 8 damage because your opponent is poisoned after taking 10 of them. Doing 8 damage to someone is almost half of their life. If you hit them with one Invigorate, it is as if you delt 40% of the damage you need to deal to win the game!

  4. The same is true with Mutagenic Growth. Woodeedoo you will probably lose 2 life, but think of this as dealing 4 damage, and if you happen to have 2 of them in your hand, cast them both like 8 damage, add an Invigorate to the mix, and they are probably going to be gone and out of the game by turn 3 or turn 4. The key to playing poison is to forget about what your life total is, and to focus on offense dealing poison counters. Also, you might want to have a few blue counter spells in your deck in case you get into trouble.

This is a far better deck and the majority of cards in it are commons. For example, Rancor is a tremenous card to have in a Poison Pauper deck, and so is Glistener Elf.

  6. Rancor seems okay but why would you want to continue to play it over and over? It just seems like you're dumping a mana into something that really doesn't do much.

  7. Any other suggestions? I'm still not sold on the things you told me about.
