**** Sylvan Ranger – Some Cards Cost 2 And Add 1 Mana As An Activated Ability, But This Is Better

I really like Sylvan Ranger. She seems innocuous, but really she isn’t. There are several cards out there that will add 1 mana that cost two mana, usually a green and a colorless, but the problem with these cards is that they are vulnerable. In the case of Sylvan Ranger, you separate these abilities into two cards. One is a separate land card. The other is Sylvan Ranger herself. Sylvan Ranger herself is zero threat to your opponent, such that he or she probably won’t bother with this creature. However, the secret to this card is combining it with something like Primal Bellow and/or Gigantiform.
